you...

I close my eyes
to see you...
I stop my heart
to listen you...

Fighting myself

I kept fighting myself
Trying to capture
The sound of music
From the talks and thoughts,
Which could take me
To a place
Better than heaven...

Simple

I leaned to the wall
Trying to listen something
More from what we hear
The sound of music
And its adorably wonderful
When it is simple...

Trying hard

Trying hard
To think of an idea
Roaming around
To find a way out
Spent all its life
In a cage of lie...

Eyes

It's eyes are wide open
To look for the light
At the end of tunnel
Of this life
With the absence of
It's loved ones...

Her eyes

The minute I saw her
Into her eyes
I could see
An ocean of love
Waiting to be discovered
With innocence
Litting up the sky
Expressing her love for eternity
Fast moving tides
Trying not to lose her beloved
No matter what happens
Deep enough
To stay along together forever.

Lullaby

Her song was
Like a lullaby
Which can put
A baby to sleep
Can't say
How much I loved it
'Cause I don't want
To wake up from that
Sweet feeling
And lose it.

Dad

You are there
Watching me crying, playing
Crashing like a kid.
Trying to make me
Take a good path.
Sharing my feelings
To soothen pain and pressure.
Providing me all the things needed
Without concern of your luxury.
Loving all the way good and bad
With expecting nothing in return
But my health and happiness.

I can never thank you enough
For all the things
You have done and doing
No matter what I do
I will be greatly indebted to you...

(dedicated to my father : Prasad Suram)

Rails

I was looking at the rails
To understand
Why they stay apart from each other
Like enemies to see who can go for long

Then I came to realize that
They stay apart to
Make people live together, long and happy...

Bridge

I was standing on a bridge
To cross over the river
From a life, simple and lazy
To a life,challenging and busy
Without the concern for love and life
Because I believe
You will be there always with me...

Friend

I was walking
Away from my problems and difficulties
Like a kid
Making them grow bigger and stronger

You came into my life
And made them look
Clear and smaller
By being there for me

It's small to say in words
But nevertheless
Thank you, my friend...

Sun

He is getting burnt
To keep us alive
With our days making possible
Not to just exist
But to understand in giving things
And to feel the worth of life and living...

Snow

The snow was like
A blanket spread over the world
Making things look
They are not at all there
But it didn't know
That it took the shape
Of them that it covered...

Soothen

Feeling cold and hot
Waiting for morning light
Like never before
To take me into its arms
And wipe out the dark evil
Soothe the heart
And help me rest
For a while
In this busy world...

Child

He was sleeping there
In his father's arms
Like a newborn baby
With courage in mind
With hearts to win over
With miles to go
And challenges to overcome...

Nature-5

The sky was dark with glowing stars
Like a blanket over miniature bulbs
The air was cool and breezy
Like a fast moving chilling wind
The sun is about to rise
Like a small kid waking up lazily
The nature is about to shine
Making lives happier than ever...

Nature-4

There is a family of trees
Awakened by the morning light of sun
Making their day
A brighter and challenging one...

Nature-3

The trees look like lilliputs spread over the land
Waiting for their time to grow big and wild
With the sun making them strong and resistant
With the nights keeping them cool and thinking
With dreams becoming bigger
And to stand tall and bright

Nature-2

The trees stand like the keys on a piano
With the sky lit up in red and blue
With the grass as carpet over the land
With the birds chirping, making musings
Felt sorry, that i couldn't compose a song
That's more lovable than they are...

Nature-1

I said to the nature
you are beautiful.
She told me
you are kidding.
I said i'm writing a poem on you.
And then, she believed she is beautiful.
